This green tea ice cream can also easily made at home. For home made ice cream ice is not required. Theses green tea ice cream contains the various flavors. Matcha is very famous for preparing the ice cream because it have bright green colour. Now a day there are more peoples are green tea lovers. So the various products are prepared from this get a best response.

How to make green tea ice cream?

Ingredients :-

The more important equipment is an ice cream maker.

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cc sugar
  • 1/2 green tea powder
  • 9 egg yolks
  • 1 tbs cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Procedure :-

This is very simple method to prepare the green tea ice cream. By using the proper process in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions then nothing is impossible.

  • Mix water and green tea powder together in a bowl.
  • Add 1 cup hot cream mixture in a slow stream, whisking vigorously.
  • The cream should have thickened and coats the back of a wooden spoon.
  • Beat the egg yolks with the 1/4 cup caster sugar in a separate bowl.
  • Then strain the milk mixture into it.
  • At 160 degrees, the mixture will give off a puff of steam.
  • Freeze mixture for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • To cover and freeze 2 hours.
